Fish Parcels

Yesterday I made this fish parcels recipe from Nibblous. It was really easy to make, except that there was no temperature listed for baking. I guess that’s because it all varies with the type of fish you choose. I used pollock, so it wasn’t very difficult to cook/determine a cook time. And again, I didn’t take a picture, but here’s the crab I cooked a few weeks ago!

Dijon Chicken Stew with Potatoes and Kale

Sorry it’s taken me so long to post this recipe. It’s been quite a week (as always). I found this recipe on Nibblous, posted by Mac Jordan of Reactive Cooking. I love both her blog and her recipe site, but this recipe wasn’t as well written as it could’ve been. There were a couple steps I was confused about; for example, she writes “Prepare the chicken and toss in flour,” but then later she says “place 1/3 cup flour in a shallow bowl or pie plate. Dredge chicken in flour, shaking off excess.” I commented on the recipe regarding the potatoes, and I also asked her a question on Twitter, but she never got back to me.

Regardless, I took the recipe into my lazy, creative hands and it turned out great. Again, I didn’t take pictures because I was too excited to cook and eat, but I’ll show you this instead:
